Marc Strano, Principal of SHIFT Leadership Development LLC, has held management positions in many industries including Consumer Electronics, Banking, Finance, Law, Construction, Global Logistics, and Retail Luxury. This diverse experience has influenced leadership, management, and career development at companies ranging in size from a handful of local employees to the global offices of an international matrixed conglomerate.
Through Marc’s programs, executives, managers and contributors have risen to new opportunities in Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing and Distribution, Research and Development, Operations, Customer Service, and Shared Services (Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Technology).
Of particular interest to the range of professionals in career transition, Marc has presented his to executive leadership programs at the Harvard Business School. He has coached students at Columbia University and Montclair State University. And he has dedicated many years to “enhance and advance” the careers of mid-career managers and emerging “Rising Star” high-performer-high-potentials.
Known for delivering transformational experiences with an aim to improve self-awareness and interpersonal dynamics, the results of Marc’s work are immediate, practical, and sustainable. Marc is a volunteer career transition coach at the New Start Career Network (NSCN) at Rutgers University, and the Institute for Career Transitions (ICT) in the greater Boston area.
Marc holds a Master’s in International Management and Finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (ASU), and a Bachelor’s in Linguistics, Psychology, and Computer Science from the University of Rochester.
