Erica is an Executive Resume Writer and Job Search Advisor with 20+ years of experience in the careers industry. She owns and operates two companies, the Captivators and Job Search Like a Pro, both of which she runs in tandem. Her clients include industry leaders, public figures, celebrities, award-winning artists, and more. In addition, Erica serves on Advisory Boards for Microsoft-funded Yoodli and JobRightAI. She is a Speaker in Residence for Execore and Portfolio Rocket.

Forbes, LinkedIn News, Job Seeker Nation, and several media outlets have featured Erica’s insights. She is also a repeat guest on “Career Blast in a Half,” which ranks in the top 1% of Apple Podcasts. For four years running, she has ranked on JobMob’s global list of the “Top 25 Job Search Articles of the Year.”

Earlier in her career, Erica wrote and consulted for Talent Inc., an umbrella organization for several leading resume development firms. She began her career at premier executive outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, where she was quickly promoted to Head Writer. She continues to write, consult, and helm pilot projects for CGC.

Erica’s BA in English and Professional Writing from Western Illinois University is supplemented with a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) designation. She is a member of Career Thought Leaders (CTL) and the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches (PARWCC).
