Founded in 2007, this is volunteer-run job search support group in Somerset, New Jersey. Since our founding, the St Matthias Employment Ministry has been reaching out to anyone, in Somerset NJ and nearby areas, who is struggling with employment issues. You do not have to be a parishioner. You do not have to be Catholic. All are welcome!
We are a committed group of volunteers who are here to help you with any aspect of the job search process including topics such as as networking, using LinkedIn, interviewing, cover letters and resumes.
Our motto is: “Remember, You could be the answer to someone’s prayers.”
In 2012 we were recognized by the White House and invited to participate in a national forum on faith-based support groups for job seekers.
